There is a new class of digital cameras out and there has not been an official name given to them. They are currently being referred to as Evil Cameras. Evil stands for Electronic Viewfinder Interchangeable Lens, which basically means there is not a prism in the Camera. What you see through the view finder is what you get. The cameras also have replaceable lenses just like DSLRs but with the body the size of a point and shoot.
Sony currently produces a NEX-3 "EVIL" camera.
